Five Thoughtful Ways to Give Thanks
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but there is still plenty of time of give thanks for the blessings in your life. Encourage your family, friends and Thanksgiving guests to do the same with these five thoughtful ideas.
With the Written Word - Send a handwritten note, email or text to an old friend or special person in your life thanking them for their love and support.
By Spreading Kindness - Buy coffee or lunch for the person behind you in line and encourage them to pass along the gesture to someone else.
By Helping Those in Need – Serve in a soup kitchen or provide a family with a grocery store gift card to help pay for their Thanksgiving meal.
Starting a “Thankful” Tradition – Ask your Thanksgiving guests to write what they’re thankful for on a blank tablecloth. Reuse and add to it every year for a special tradition!
Channel their Creative Side – Ask your children to draw pictures or make a picture collage using magazine clippings to capture what they’re most thankful for this year.
