What's a QR Code and How Can I Use One?

In layman's terms, QR codes are matrix or two-dimensional barcodes that can be read by imaging devices, namely smartphone cameras, to quickly link someone to a website. Here's an example of an Apple iPhone reading a QR code from one of our Full-Image® Tumblers.

It's as simple as:

  1. Open your camera app.
  2. Focus on the QR code as though you are going to take a picture of it.
  3. Once detected, click the link provided.

On our Custom Cups - ordered in bulk or FREE with every fundraiser - groups customize their QR code to direct fans and supporters to a website or select information of their choice. Take for example, Northside ISD Swim Center in San Antonio. They used the QR code on their Custom Cups to direct fans to the results of the swim meet!
